We are a COD clan first & foremost.

BF3 though is a very good game & has captured a lot of our attentions. That said you will notice a lot of 55s play a multitude of games so if you fancy a game...buy it & if it has multiplayer we will probably join you

Personally I love BF3 a lot more than MW3 which in a way is unfortunate.

That said...I am more than willing to jump on MW3 at any time...except Thursday's...That's the 55's BF3 day ;)

Alright sounds good...I'm still playing around a lot as it is my first Modern Warfare game and BO is my first CoD game in general and they work completely differetnly. There is so many aerial attacks. :D

QA: if your play style is more "running and gunning" (and just that) then you might find BF3 a bit lacking.

If you are not into RNG'ing then BF3 has loads to offer. You will not be disappointed.

I for one like BF3 a lot more than MW3.

Yea I noticed in your BO vs MW3 thread you mentioned you a runner. If that's your play style I wouldn't recommend it. It is definitely a more tactical base game. Which I prefer sometimes :)

I didn't enjoy it at all, and neither did Shaggi (we are both run-n-gunners at heart)

I like to run n gun and also live bf3!
In my opinion it is sooo much better than mw3.
You've got the fighting on foot and also the vehicles, planes and choppers to play with.
Try renting and see what you think first. Although you do need to play it for a while to really get into it and unlock the good stuff.

I too am a Run & Gunner and totally love BF3. Faaaaaaaaaaar better than COD IMO.

Definatly pick the game up, learn the ropes & unlock some goodies. Takes a while to fully get to grips with it but then that depends on you.

Personally I picked it up really easy & can jump bk on COD and adjust back easily..that said if I play BF3 then jump on COD I get bored quick as there is so little going on really!

If you rent it...get it for at least 2 weeks.

I doubt you'll regret it

quickaim: one of the key attributes of BF3 of course is the destructible environment.

particularly on Conquest, but also on other modes such as Rush, the scene/setting totally changes over the course of a game.

this adds a whole new dimension to the game that is uniquely different from COD.
