Not bowled over with these tbh.

There just isnt any balance. One map is impossible to defend ..... the other is impossible to attach ..... snipers have way too much power ..... might be just me getting used to these ...... but just feels really messily constructed and laid out.

Not enjoyed any of them yet ...... dont know if they have over thought things but its all a bit messy and without the same kind of balance of the original maps.

Just not feeling the love with these new maps at all .... just FUBAR for me ... they have created some unwinnable maps.

And they have crippled everything with the exception of the usual fanboi wish lists

Snipers - Way too powerful
Assault - Way too powerful
Cavalry - Useless on horseback
Shotgun - FFS will they never learn
Hellriegel - WTF .... no wonder most people go Assault with this and shotgun.

TBH ... the list goes on and i am getting very frustrated with BF1 right now. The old maps are way better and clearly the best of the suite. But these other issues are really getting under my skin now.

Get to buck the trend but enjoying the new maps. Have gone from Mediic to Support and it's worked for me on these new ones.

Some of the conquests matchups on those new maps have been fairly lopsided, but some of them were extremely good close games. Everything depends on good team balancing and class balancing. Snipers get really fking old, but I was able to tear most of them a new ass with support. Bipod + long range = LOLSniper. They can't keep up with me.

As always, a good squad makes all of the difference.

I wish they'd limit how many scouts can be on one team. At one point on Saturday, I counted 14 scouts on my 32-man team. That's far, far too many, especially when we only had 3 medics. I doubt they'll ever restrict the scout class, but it's like noob-central. I couldn't leave that lobby quickly enough.

If you can unlock the chauchaut lmg it's a beast with telescopic and bipod damage is unreal and great as lmg sniper

Limit of certain loadouts would be great, but never gonna happen.

What's the point playing CQ if half your team are stuck in the mountains?

They seriously need to sort out this sniper shite, shotgun snipers and fckn hiregiel

Its getting on my tits big time. Basically if you have a few decent snipers on the attack or defence on some of these maps its impossible.
