The Doctor is waiting for the PS4.5, you know it will come out as soon as he gets the current version.

Overall opinion is, it is Battlefield but evolved. They have tweaked the formula and it does work, whilst feeling different to the most recent games. It reminds me a bit of BF Vietnam on PC in the way it handles. They do need to make sure class and weapon balances are close to finalised by launch but otherwise I'm hopeful.

Be interesting to see your opinion on how this alpha differs to the upcoming open beta. As we know when these things come out...they tend to be code that is already several weeks old....especially so on consoles due to certification.

Heard various people say how it's feels like a BF game, yet handles different to BF4...Almost faster, but not in an Advanced Warfare style.

The map they released was a good demonstration for getting the "feeling" of how grim this war was...but I'm really looking forward to seeing what else they have to offer.

That's reasonably accurate. Like I said before its different but familiar enough.

My only concern is they have stupid ass game modes etc or things become comical .... but I highly doubt it .... this is probably the most excited I have been for a BF title.

I should point out in the alpha there were again issues of over powered weapons with pistols more lethal than a gatling gun ,... and our old friend the fckn shotguns !!

I am sure they will resolve these on the Beta.

I wouldn't worry about gun balancing just yet....still a while to go before release.

Not long for the beta though.

Be good to get rolling with THE 55s again :)

Ooooh might watch that again myself. Watched it years ago and was great. Noticed it for a cheap price on Bluray a while back and picked it up but never watched...now I will.

Wrong era....but War is war.

The Pacific is worth watching too, It's from the same directors but follows the Americans in the...erm...Pacific's;)

Not as good as Band of Brothers though.

Spielberg & Hanks have a 3rd series coming out, It's called "Masters of the air", no release announced, but expected in 2017. Also rumours that the title of that has changed to "The Mighty 8th".

Dunkirk could be awesome, solid cast & director.
